HE WAS FURTHER away today but Rory McIlroy will be glad to see the back of the 12th hole at the BMW Championship in Cherry Hills Village.

For the second day in a row, the world number one took four putts on the par-3.

This time, at least, the County Down golfer started out some 20ft away but that doesn’t excuse his three putts from within six foot to record a double bogey.
